Prof. Christina Scheffler has made it her goal to develop new sustainable building materials including fibers and polymers, that are scalable and affordable for real world applications. As of 2024 she is professor for Polymers in Construction at TUD Dresden University of Technology, head of the Department Fiber Engineering at the Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research (ipf) and Principal Investigator at the Cluster of Excellence CARE.
On the Campus Melaten of RWTH Aachen University, the reference construction site opened its doors for the “Open Campus Week 2025”.
