Why work with us?

Empowering Researchers Through Networks

CARE is dedicated to nurturing researchers at all career stages within an outstanding network of peers and partners from academia and industry. Our programs, aligned with international standards for supervision, mentoring, and quality assurance, provide comprehensive support and foster the development of responsible, independent scientists.

Supporting Young Talents through Training Groups

The departments and disciplines involved in CARE bring long-standing experience in supporting young researchers, for example through DFG Research Training Groups like RTG 2250 and RTG 1491, as well as Collaborative Research Centers such as CRC/TRR 280 and CRC/TRR 339. These initiatives place CARE within a strong tradition of fostering early-career researchers and provide an inspiring environment for the next generation of scholars.

Career Development from Bachelor to Professor

Building on the successful measures of established Clusters of Excellence at TUD and RWTH, CARE offers a structured and supportive program for early-career researchers. From initial steps in a bachelor’s program to establishing themselves as junior professors, members benefit from an environment that promotes scientific growth and career development.
